I like social media platforms, and sometimes eager to find new ones. But last month I decided to delete some of it.
Cosmunity is one of the newbies, and I like the uploading method and the mobile app too, but after 2 years!!! nothing changed, still very limited, and the number of users is very rare, so I tried to delete it, but can’t find the button for it. I send multiple emails to the support, and guess what? No one answered me so I delete everything that I upload these years. Sad but not unique.
I tried to understand it as a cosplayer, but I think this is not the perfect social media for cosplayers. Just that simple.
The site is like a portfolio for your best photos and works, and the admins choose one cosplayer for daily and for months but they just choose the popular cosplayers or the fewer clothes wearable. Sad but not unique method (hello Art of Cosplay, I look at you too)
Sounds good, but never worked, it’s like a WordCosplay clone, but never fixed the site bug, and of course they not answer about my deleting request like Cosmunity.
It’s just never worked, like a forum from the ’90s, it’s a mass so I leave – besides, the site has a Delete my account button – so delightful.
In the first 2 years, it’s perfectly worked from Instagram share, but now it’s not working, maybe some photographers use it, but I think it’s not a platform for cosplayers. It’s a good site, just not for what I want.
It’s just like Reddit has a lovechild with Pinterest, but got the psychology method from 9gag (people are so rude in there) so I just quit, maybe I’m not the only one who got enough negativity in her lives, so don’t need more.
It’s just Russia Facebook, but with a lot of NSFW pictures. And when I say a lot, it’s mean a LOT!
I know Patreon is/was a great site and gave an opportunity for a lot of cosplayers, like Kinpatsu, but now it’s full, and the developers so much eager for money, they don’t try to make it better, just to make it more valuable – a sad story like always. Besides, I follow some creators in it like Kinpatsu, Hannah Alexander and Elyon Cosplay – because they deserved it!
It was a big boom, I love the construction, the mobile app, everything, but after half a million people joined, the developers not fixed the problems, it’s like a beta, and never changed, so I quit – but found the Delete my account button in the app so I’m a happy little potato.
