The famous traveling blogger Drew Binsky, who was destined for office work by his parents but has become an English teacher, has an unusual career behind him until in two years he was one of the most popular traveling bloggers, followed by millions today.

Drew Binsky’s videos have been viewed about 500 million times and told CNBC he earned $ 154,000 last year from advertising revenue from Facebook and YouTube materials, as well as collaborations with companies like Booking.com.

Binsky graduated in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013 after moving to South Korea to teach English and later launching his own travel blog and making videos. Its popularity skyrocketed after it posted videos and pictures of its trip to North Korea – it was viewed more than 10 million times.

“You can’t learn to make a video overnight,” the blogger said. He developed a lot during his time in South Korea while earning more and more with his videos – between a thousand and 30 thousand dollars in a month.

Today, Binsky has visited 163 countries around the world and plans to reach all countries once.

“It’s unbelievable how the millennial generation is inventing new things that didn’t exist five or ten years ago,” added Danny Binsky, Drew’s father, said he and his wife have traveled a lot since then, as his son’s videos have opened their eyes to different cultures and foods.
