Have you ever been in front of the shelves and tried to find out whether to use coconut oil or coconut oil on your skin and hair at the suggestion of your friends? If so, I’ll reveal a secret, there is no difference. Because coconut oil or fat has a melting point of 24 degrees, the solid, creamy white mass in Central Europe is commonly referred to as fat. If the temperature exceeds the melting point, clear liquid oil is formed from the fat.
Coconut oil is natural vegetable oil. It is obtained by squeezing the fruit flesh of the coconut. Coconut oil is very valuable in cosmetics due to its facial, body, and hair care properties. Especially if you prefer natural ingredient-free natural cosmetics.
Skincare
It can be easily applied as an ointment or oil. Allow to melt in the palm of your hand and apply in a thin layer to your skin. It may take some time for it to be completely absorbed. The oil soothes the skin after sunbathing, promotes wound healing and its regular use reduces scarring. It is also effective against cellulite and pregnancy streaks when used for extended periods.
Facial skin
After a thorough cleansing, it can be used for acne and impure skin, or even herpes, thanks to the antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory effects of coconut oil. Simply apply to the affected areas with a cotton ball (You can also apply it with clean hands, but be sure to wash your hands afterward, as warts or herpes are contagious!)
The vitamins, minerals, nutrients, and antioxidants contained in coconut oil tighten and elasticize the skin. It can help prevent premature wrinkles. Simply apply a small amount to the affected areas a few times a week.
Coconut oil is also excellent as a makeup remover. Melt a hazelnut size in the palm of your hand and apply it to your face, then use a cotton ball to remove it. This not only removes makeup but also nourishes your skin.
Hair
Coconut oil nourishes, rebuilds, and resists weakened hair. It also has a beneficial effect on the scalp, balancing the very dry or oily scalp.
Massage coconut oil into your washed and lightly dried hair once a week (1-2 tablespoons depending on the length of your hair). Allow melting in the palm of your hand before use. Leave on for at least 1 hour, preferably all night long. For perfect results, wrap your hair in a towel after application. Finally, wash it.
