As a fan of the Yves Rocher brand, I typically have high expectations for their products, having never been disappointed in the past. My enthusiasm was piqued when I tested their Waterproof Eye Pencil on my hand and was delighted by the beautiful color it produced. It seemed like a promising addition to my makeup collection.
However, the excitement quickly faded when I applied it to my eyes at home. To my dismay, the pencil delivered almost no color. I struggled to draw even a faint line, and my skin was already irritated by the time I got a trace on my eyelids. This raised the question: where did the vibrant pigment from my hand disappear? The lack of color payoff on my eyelids was incredibly disappointing, especially from a brand I trust.
I also found the price point relatively high for the limited color selection. Cheaper alternatives on the market provide a brighter color payoff and require less frequent application. Overall, I regret that the Yves Rocher Waterproof Eye Pencil did not meet my expectations and left me seeking better options.
