OUR STORY
It all began in 2016 at MondoCon in Budapest, Hungary, where we first crossed paths. Serendipitously, we were both dressed as characters from the beloved series “Avatar: The Last Airbender” – Catleen as the fierce and agile Mai, and Lord Halgor as the enigmatic and powerful Zuko. Little did we know that this chance meeting would mark the beginning of a remarkable adventure together.
Our mutual love for cosplay ignited a spark, and we soon found ourselves collaborating on various costume projects. From painstakingly crafting intricate outfits to designing props that perfectly captured the essence of our chosen characters, we poured our hearts and creativity into each cosplay endeavor.
In 2017, we embarked on a new chapter of our lives by moving to the picturesque region of Baden-Württemberg in Germany. This transition not only broadened our horizons but also opened up a world of cosplay opportunities within the vibrant European cosplay community. The rich cultural tapestry of Germany added an extra layer of inspiration to our creations, allowing us to explore a diverse range of characters and genres.
But our journey together wasn’t just about cosplay. In 2019, we took the most significant step of all – we became partners for life. Our wedding was a celebration of love, shared passions, and the incredible adventures we’ve embarked on together.
